NTT Comware Contributes to Customers' Large Cost Reductions for IT Systems with Super-high-speed System Development Tool

NTT Comware Corporation (Head office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President: Shinobu Umino, hereinafter, NTT Comware) signed the GeneXus Business Partnership Program agreement with GeneXus Japan (Head office: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; President: Fumio Owaki, hereinafter, GeneXus Japan) on June 30, 2015. This program contributes to the enhancement of IT cost efficiencies of customers by using GeneXus, a super-high-speed system development tool.
GeneXus is an intelligent tool that enables automatic generation of IT programs and design of database architecture with data of business specifications. NTT Comware has also been achieving up to 50% cost reductions in IT systems development compared to the traditional way of developing systems from scratch. The revision of the contract, based on GeneXus Japanfs Partner Program, enables us to provide more efficient solutions for customers by using this tool, which has advantages over the older version.
With increased needs for cost reductions in IT systems, a package system is a good option for corporate users; however, for some users with particular business needs or issues, package systems alone are not a total solution. NTT Comware provides the new system development solution using GeneXus for them who face challenges in cost reductions for their IT systems and in using package systems. We contribute to a significant reduction in IT-related costs by providing a system development solution using GeneXus.

• Outline of GeneXus
GeneXus is a Uruguay-made high-speed IT system development tool and a DOA (*1) tool used by 8,500 or more companies in 45 countries worldwide. The major features are as follows:
(1) Automatic generation of programs and database architecture designs
GeneXus is an intelligent tool that automatically generates database, application source codes and executable modules by creating a definition of the data model and business logic on the tool.
