NTT Comware Won "IT Management Award" for "Visualization Infrastructure of Group Company Management Information"
NTT Comware Corporation (Head office: Minato-ku, Tokyo, President: Satoshi Kurishima, hereinafter, NTT Comware) won the IT Management Award at the IT Awards 2017 presented by Japan Institute of Information Technology (hereinafter, JIIT)*1 for the "Visualization Infrastructure of Group Company Management Information" project.
NTT Group has developed the medium-term corporate management strategy "Toward the New Stage 2.0" targeting FY2018. To achieve the goal "expansion and profit generation of global businesses," which is one of the strategy's pillars, it is necessary to strengthen corporate governance and demonstrate improvement of the synergistic effects of each group company by visualizing the corporate information to be shared.
NTT Comware, the assistant company to the Group CIO, established "Visualization Infrastructure of Group Company Management Information" for all the NTT group companies worldwide in collaboration with Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation (NTT Holding Company). With this platform, we aggregate the big data owned by each group company, including those overseas, and standardize various corporate information, including that related to human resources, procurement and finance by using our experience and know-how accumulated from various large-scale enterprise systems for NTT group companies and other clients. The reason for winning the award is NTT Comware's efficient systems architecting project and completion of the infrastructure in a limited time using Waterfall and Agile to optimize the visualizing process on the common enterprise system.
NTT Comware will further enhance infrastructure functions to strongly support the management decisions of the group companies of NTT Group to remain to be the "value partner" for customers.
