Regional Companies Will Open New Business.
NTT COMWARE Corporation (Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo, President: Yuji Matsuo, hereinafter: NTT COMWARE) will open 5 new regional companies on the 1st of October. Our goal is to expand the market of NTT COMWARE group by strengthening competitiveness by close management to the regions.

Improving the know-how and skill we have accumulated a base business such as system development and system services, each company of NTT COMWARE group aims to expand the accepting of orders by developing a positive local market. While the main market of NTT COMWARE is major companies and government offices, new target companies are the medium-sized enterprises and local public organizations. We will especially approach IT plans promoted by local public organizations. Each company aims to be in the black in three years, and will make up more than 30 percent of NTT COMWARE's sales volume by the end of 2006.
On managing, sharing the same goal, NTT COMWARE group tries to (1)clarify management responsibilities, (2)introduce a market mechanism, and (3)make quicker decisions by creating independent companies, and to reflect achievement of individual employees to results directly. NTT COMWARE BILLING SOLUTION Corporation (Head Office: Shinagasa-ku, Tokyo, President: Haruo Imai) was established in April, 2001. The company supplies solutions in billing and printing and delivery area. NTT INTERNET Corporation (Head Office: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo, President: Takeshi Nonoichiya) was established in August, 2001. The company develops VAN for convenience stores and information system. These companies are striving to create new value for the IT market by synergy effect by developing the group management in earnest.
