Corporate Reorganization and Personnel Transfers
NTT COMWARE CORPORATION (hereinafter, NTT COMWARE; Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President: Yuhji Imai) will conduct a reorganization of its corporate structure as well as personnel transfers at the executive and other levels effective July 1, 2004.

1.Overview of the Corporate Reorganization
NTT COMWARE will conduct a reorganization of its corporate structure in order to both meet the challenges of an expanding IT market and to increase the competitiveness of each of its business areas. Specifically, three divisions, System Integration Headquarters, NEXIPT Business Division and Business Development Department, will be reorganized. Following this will be the establishment of five new divisions: Finance Systems Division, Digital TV Network Division, Resonant Solutions Headquarters, CRM & Billing Solutions Headquarters and Open Source Software Department. This will create an organizational structure which will allow each business area to conduct activities ranging from strategy formulation to the execution of projects independently and in a unified manner.
[ Roles of the Newly-organized Divisions ]
• Financial Systems Division
Financial Systems Division will conduct activities including market trend research of financial market sectors such as banks, securities, insurance, mutual insurance and non-banks, as well as the planning of new business projects. The creation of this division will allow for the consolidation of activities ranging from the provision of solutions to system development under one organization.
• Digital TV Network Division
Digital terrestrial television, broadcasts of which are anticipated to begin from 2006, and the renewal of analogue relay networks will present many opportunities for business. With the objective of increasing the competitiveness of this business area, the creation of this division will bring the systems engineering, development and building of digital television network operation systems under one organization.
• Resonate Solutions Headquarters
Resonate Solutions Headquarters will conduct activities such market trend research on network businesses, as well as the planning of new business activities. The creation of the headquarters will allow for the consolidation of activities ranging from the provision of various network solutions, such as VoIP, to systems development and the building of networks under one organization.
• CRM & Billing Solutions Headquarters
CRM & Billing Solutions Headquarters conducts activities such as market trend research on customer information systems and billing systems as well as the planning of new business projects. The creation of the headquarters will allow for the consolidation of activities ranging from the provision of network solutions to system development under one organization.
• Open Source Software Department
With a mandate to support the development of open source software and its application in projects, this department will be the core organization within the NTT Group for open source software technology. The department will also promote the application of open source software in NTT COMWARE solutions and will provide support to each sales department in the design of customer solutions.
