2.NTT Comware's Roles
NTT Comware, took part in the project since the preliminary study of the system integration of Kandu. The theme park operation system is designed pursuing convenience, security and safety for the theme park guests, especially families with children. NTT Comware contributes to realize the concept using its know-hows in a number of SI projects for various industries, and its technologies to cover a wide range of areas from enterprise systems to smart device development.
The front-end system, as a core of the park operation, consists of NTT Comware's applications and the optimum packages for it. In particular, the tablet terminals that children would use in the theme park are easy and enjoyable to use, as it covers the main function of the theme park operation such as admission control to and from venues and activity booking by interlinking the wristbands that the guests should wear.
NTT Comware also provides the server management services including its network in order to design the optimum network infrastructure for the theme park operation. 3.Features of the NTT Comware's System for Kandu
  • The booking system to allow theme park guests to experience the job experience activities with efficiency

  • Children can book Venues that they want to experience by themselves with the tablet terminals available in the theme park. The booking information is managed through the system linked to the wristbands that to be provided to each guest when they enter the gate for the day. It reduces waiting time and provides efficient services.

  • Admission control for the safety of children

  • A wristband is provided for each guest. The system then registers the guests per group. This grouping function is effective to manage the entry and exit information, which is particularly helpful to avoid children to exit the gate without adults in the registered group, as well as to prevent strangers from taking children out of the park facility.
Furthermore, as children's check-in and checkout information to Venues are sent by an email to adults accompanying them, it allows parents to feel safety and to know where and what children are doing within the theme park at all time.

  • Kachings, the system to enhance the reality of guest experiences in economic activities

  • Katchings is the virtual money of Kandu to earn for the theme park guests as a reward to their job experiences. Children can learn economic activities through using and saving Kachings with fun. Kachings saving/usage data is stored in the bank venue through smartphones and wristbands interconnected online. Katchings in the saving account can be used as electronic money by using their wristbands to receive various services at other Venues.
(* The virtual money is only available in Kandu the theme park. It is not for money exchange).
