Reorganization and Personal Transfers
NTT Comware Corporation (below, NTT Comware; Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President: Yuhji Imai) announces its reorganization of divisions and nomination of the candidates for the executive level positions on October 1, 2007.
1. Outline of Reorganization
NTT Comware newly established two new divisions: 1) NGN Operation Systems Division to enhance its system development capabilities related to NGN (Next Generation Network) Operations and 2) Core Technology and Program Management Division to integrate element technologies required for system development aiming further improvement of product development capability.2. NGN Operation Systems DivisionThis new division is to review the organizations for further growth of NGN related system development technologies as well as unification of the system development functions required for an integrated responsibility on system development for full commercialization of NGN, ranging from sales to development.
Core Technology and Program Management Division
This new division is a center of development and support for element technologies that would be commonly integrated into major solutions such as network integration and security. This function was assigned to various organizations. It is an integration of the current development standardization/support group and another technical department for an advanced research and development of NGN including NGN platform technologies and applications.
