NTT Comware Tokyo Data Center Obtained SAS70 Report, Auditing Standard for Corporate Governance
NTT Comware Co. Ltd. (Head office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President: Michio Sugimoto; hereinafter, NTT Comware) has obtained SAS70 Report (Type I) (*1) in accordance with Statements on Auditing Standards No. 70 (hereinafter, SAS70) to assess the internal controls of NTT Comware Tokyo Data Center. The purpose of an SAS 70 report is to represent a consistent assessment of a service provider's internal controls in compliance with SOX Act (including Japanese SOX Act). Given this report, NTT Comware Tokyo Data Center enables the customers to mitigate the workload of auditing concerning the assessment of internal controls (for auditing) of the party who is committed as required by SOX Act.

The report can be used concerning corporate governance over its assessment process in accordance with SOX Act (including Japanese SOX Act) for house consulting services committed to NTT Comware. The customers of NTT Comware Tokyo Data Center may expect SAS70 Report to substitute the corporate governance assessment (for auditing) for services outsourced. SmartCloud, NTT Comware's Enterprise Cloud Services is used at NTT Comware Tokyo Data Center.
