Fukushima/Ibaraki/Tochigi-Produced Vegetables for NTT Group Cafeterias

NTT and its group companies promote to consume more vegetables produced in Fukushima, Ibaraki and Tochigi prefectures as not limited for sales*, than those from other prefectures, as one of the relief efforts to the earthquake affected areas. The vegetables will be used at the company cafeterias from April 27, 2011 (Wed).

Given potential limitations in food distributions, the vegetables are currently used for meals only in some company cafeterias in the Tokyo metropolitan area. More company cafeterias will follow once a safe and secure distribution of food is confirmed.

NTT Group will continue to make the utmost effort to help the swift recovery of the affected communities in the region.

Vegetables from:
  • Fukushima: leek, snow pea, Mitsuba trefoil, green pea etc.
  • Ibaraki: lettuce, green pepper, Chinese cabbage, Mizuna/potherb mustard, lotus root, Chinese spinach/bok choy, Chinese chive etc.
  • Tochigi: tomato, cucumber, eggplant etc.
