Reorganization of Divisions and Executive-level Personnel Transfers/New Assignments
NTT Comware Corporation (below, NTT Comware; Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President: Shinobu Umino) announces the reorganization of the divisions and personal transfers of the board members effective August 1, 2012.
1. Outline of the Reorganization
NTT Comware launches the new divisions to further promote the Comware Group Mid-Term Corporate Strategy (2011-2013): Network Division; Telecommunications Solutions Division; Enterprise Business Division; Business Creation Division. As part of the reorganization, the following divisions will be closed: Network Solutions Division; NGN Operation Systems Division; CRM & Billing Solutions Division; Enterprise Solutions Division; NTT Business Promotion Division.
2. Roles of the New Divisions
*Network Division, Telecommunications Solutions Division, and Enterprise Business Division
These divisions are established to clarify each role, in order to specify our responsibilities to customers and meet their true needs. This is a shift of the directions to the one-stop solutions as an IT strategy-planning partner by proposing a grand design of the value-added services. This reorganization empowers our divisions to be customer/industry-oriented, rather than the current solution-based operations, aiming for an approach to a broader range of customers with quick and quality services.
* Business Creation Division
This division is to promote new business incubation and services development, by integrating and enforcing the functions in the current organization structure, in order to create the second and third core businesses of Comware Group, as well as for contribution of the services creation projects of NTT Group.
