NTT COMWARE Launches SARABOT, a Chatbot-Based Sales Support Service
Salesforce and Chat Tool Working Together, with the BOT Navigating Sales Operations

NTT COMWARE CORPORATION (Head office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President: Satoshi Kurishima; hereinafter NTT COMWARE) launched the new SARABOT*1 service enabling users to populate Salesforce*2 with information about business negotiations and the status of sales activities via chat tools. This service began to be provided on March 18.

As the digital transformation of businesses progresses, an increasing number of companies are investing in SalesTech, the digitalization of their sales activities. The number of companies introducing sales support systems is also increasing every year. However, the collection and input of data, which is necessary to make effective use of the systems, is not making progress. This has led to a reaffirmation of the importance of developing mechanisms and devices that populate the systems with data.
In response, NTT COMWARE has begun providing SARABOT, a chatbot service supporting companies' SalesTech by facilitating data entry. SARABOT enables users to populate Salesforce, a CRM system, with information about business negotiations and sales activities via Microsoft Teams,*3 a team collaboration tool from Microsoft. This service enables users to report their sales activities and view activity information easily via a chat tool they use daily. In addition, in tandem with NTT Communications Corporation's COTOHA® API,*4 SARABOT analyzes activity information input as audio or text data, registering it smoothly in Salesforce. This ensures seamless communication because superiors who are informed of the registration can contact subordinates immediately via the chat tool if they find a problem in their subordinate's activities.

Moving forward, SARABOT will further use the accumulated sales activity data and enhance the features of SalesTech, such as by visualizing sales knowledge and enabling users to share best practices within an organization in accordance with the characteristics of each individual company. NTT COMWARE will also successively expand the range of compatible chat tools, including elgana*5 from NTT-Neomeit. By providing SARABOT, NTT COMWARE promotes the digital transformation of sales activities, aiming to realize a Smart World.
