Notice on Participation in New DOCOMO Group and Change of the Largest Shareholder
NTT COMWARE CORPORATION (Head office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President: Masato Kuroiwa; hereinafter NTT COMWARE) announces that at a meeting of its Board of Directors held on October 25, 2021, NTT COMWARE resolved for NTT DOCOMO, INC. to hold 66.6% of the shares of NTT COMWARE (NIPPON TELEGRAPH AND TELEPHONE CORPORATION, the existing shareholder, will continue to hold 33.4%) from January 1, 2022 and become the largest shareholder. NTT COMWARE will become a member of the New DOCOMO Group.
For the business growth of the New DOCOMO Group, NTT COMWARE will bolster its software development capabilities, provide innovative services for a new customer experience, accelerate the DOCOMO Group's digital transformation and provide the results of digital transformation to customers. NTT COMWARE will take on the challenge of the New DOCOMO Group, "Changing worlds with you." together.
